Resumo

This paper describes the methodology adopted to perform a CFD analysis with the aim to study thermal striping in T-junctions with liquid sodium; in particular, a portion of the Phenix reactor's secondary circuit has been taken into account, by implementing a detailed 3D model of both fluid and solid domain; RANS and LES turbulence models are used and their results are compared, then frequency analysis of temperature fluctuations has been performed.
