ABSTRACT
The stability of superconducting devices is distinctly influenced by the coolant's states and transport modes. He is the cryogenic fluid chosen frequently. It shows a rich set of thermodynamic changes of state. The following topics will be considered: Supercritical He4 in He I conditions, nucleate boiling including novel modes; heat transport near 2 K in superfluid He II including progress in porous media transport for magnet cooling systems.
