Abstract

The experimental study presented here aims at analyzing the evaporation of acetone droplets in highly isotropic turbulent channel flow. We present the experimental test bench which enables us to inject a spray of small polydispersed droplets in a heated intense isotropic turbulent channel flow. Turbulent features of the carrier flow are presented as well as characteristics of the injected spray. Eventually, works are in progress on fluorescence method to analyze vapour concentration.
