ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of analytical and experimental research concerned with heat transfer and hydrodynamics in thin liquid films driven by high velocity wet steam along a surface. Effects of pressure gradient, heat transfer and surface waviness, as well as of the velocity distribution model in the resulting rivulets on film stability and breakdown have been considered. Experimental verification of the proposed models has been untertaken.
