Turbulent channel flow with forced convection, where channel walls are uniformly heated, is simulated by an in-house code using a low Reynolds number k-ε turbulence model. The model predictions are validated by available DNS data and compared to the commercial code Fluent. The objective of this study is to investigate the performance of our CFD code and to simulate accurately the turbulent flow in near wall region.
