Passive vector advection in the turbulent velocity field with finite correlation time: two-loop approximation

ABSTRACT

Using the field theoretic renormalization group and the operator product expansion the model of a passive vector field advected by a Gaussian solenoidal velocity field with finite correlation time is investigated to the second order in the corresponding perturbation theory. Possible scaling regimes are found and the anomalous scaling of the single-time correlation functions of passively advected vector field is studied by the operator product expansion and it is shown that the anomalous exponents are nonuniversal and depend on the ratio of the velocity correlation time and the scalar turnover time.
