ABSTRACT
The experimental results on the wall shear stress in the upward monodispersed submillimeter bubble flow in a vertical tube are present. The presented mean shear stress are averaged over the tube perimeter. A bubble generator based on the microfluidic focusing technique was designed to produce small monodispersed bubbles. The results make us that there is an optimal size of the bubbles and the optimal gas fraction providing the maximal mass transfer coefficient between the tube and flow.
