ABSTRACT

A precise of the pressure drop by friction is needed for the design of equipments concerned by two-phase flows in oil, chemical and nuclear engineering. Usually the valuation of the wall friction is obtained from the momentum balance. In the present experiment we have used the electrochemical method in order to measure it, and to provide a fine description of the bubble flow near the wall. Other measuring methods have been also adopted to evaluate the main components of the momentum balance.
