ABSTRACT

The purpose of present study is to investigate the effects of nonlinear convection in Casson fluid flow and heat transfer over a stretching/shrinking sheet embedded in porous medium with inclined MHD and convective boundary conditions. Effects of radiation in the presence of heat source has also been examined. The governing partial differential equations are converted into one dimensional ordinary differential equations using similarity transformations. These non-dimensional ordinary differential equations are solved numerically using forth fifth order Runge-Kutta Fehlberg method with shooting technique. The effects of pertinent parameter on velocity and temperature profile has been studied. The skin friction coefficient and Nusselt number has also been obtained. The obtained results are presented through graphs and tables.
