Challenges and Solutions in the Design of Circularly Polarized Antennas for RFID Applications

Краткое описание

The paper discusses the technical requirements of the so-called read/write antennas used for the rapidly expanding RFID applications. The design of the circularly polarized circular patch antenna optimized for 953 MHz operations is presented. This antenna provides high gain and excellent circular polarization purity. An approach to improve the input impedance matching without degradation of antenna radiation characteristics is proposed.
