An Arrival Time and Duration Estimation of a Signal

Краткое описание

The structure of a maximum likelihood gauge is established. The asymptotic characteristics of joint maximum likelihood estimations of arrival time and duration of discontinued arbitrary signal waveform are found. On an example of a rectangular pulse with oblique top it is shown, that the precision loss of one parameter estimation because of ignorance another parameter can be much higher, than for a rectangular pulse. The statistical modeling results of estimations are presented.
