On Finding the Actuator Which Has Fault

The problem of finding the actuator which has fault is considered. Using for processing the results of registration of transient this or that algorithm of identification, one determines the estimations of the roots of the characteristic equation of the system and the characteristic polynomial itself. Comparing this characteristic polynomial with the characteristic polynomials, corresponding to the systems with one or another actuator which has fault, one concludes about the fault of one or another actuator. This approach allows one to use the records of the transient, corresponding to various phase coordinates of the system. The effectiveness of algorithm is shown on an example.
