Краткое описание

In recent years, there has been a growing interest on the market of heat pumps in high-temperature air constructions of air/water (A/W) types. They allow one to obtain heating water to a temperature of over 65°C (and even up to 90°C) with the temperature of the bottom source air ranging from –25 to 20°C. It is practically impossible to realize these parameters in a single stage refrigeration system. In order to realize them, cascading systems are to be used. In the process of designing such solutions in high-temperature heat pump systems, there occur significant problems, especially such as: correct selection of refrigerants for the cascading system, computational problems connected with the determination of the interstage temperature in the condenser and evaporator as well as the problems of an adequate assessment of the energy efficiency of the solution to be designed. Some computational possibilities were presented. Attention was drawn to the usefulness of the so-called design characteristics of the energy efficiency of a theoretical heat pump system. These may include characteristics of COPth = f (ta) type with tw = const, for Qg = const, where ta is the air temperature at the vaporizer inlet, tw is the heating water temperature in the condenser, and Qg is the heating power of the heat pump. This introductory assessment of the energy potential of the pump permits the determination of guidelines for their experimental tests in operating conditions.
