Краткое описание

The vortex formation and shedding process behind a circular and square cylinder are shown in this paper. Time-dependent Navier-Stokes equations are numerically solved for the purpose. The results bring out the intricacies of the shedding process and indicate that the general nature of the process is notinfluencedby geometry.
