Краткое описание

The application of the three-fluid plasma model to the description of discharge in Stationary Plasma Thrusters is discussed. The quasi 1-D versions of such a model are proposed. These versions correspond to different approximations applied to electron momentum equation. This results in different approaches to the description of ion flow transition through the ion sound barrier. Examples of stationary solutions of model equations are presented.
