ABOUT A PROPELLER BEHIND THE AIRFOIL TRAILING EDGE IN TRANSONIC FLOW

Краткое описание

In this paper, a propeller installed behind the airfoil trailing edge is investigated. The propeller is immersed into the wake where the flow velocity is decreased in comparison to the velocity of the incoming flow. An assessment of the benefits of this propeller position is given, which takes into account the influence of the propeller on the airfoil aerodynamic characteristics in relation to the supplied power and efficiency.
