Краткое описание

Fan design should take into account all of the features of fan field operation. Determining the effect of the bypass ratio on the local flow characteristics and the integral fan characteristics is labor intensive. A method for calculating the steady flow parameters and turbofan engine fan characteristics is presented. The study was aimed at establishing a technology to advance the optimal design and mathematical modeling of processes, as well as experimental studies using special test benches for the aerodynamic and acoustic characteristics of new fans. The flow parameters and characteristics were calculated in order to select the optimal design options, as well as examine the model fan stages proposed for experimental studies. Experimental data were obtained when testing a fan model in the C-3A acoustic chamber at the Central Institute of Aviation Motors. Computational and experimental studies of a model of a bypass fan stage, which is a prototype fan of an advanced ducted turbofan engine, including four booster stages were performed. The calculations showed good convergence when comparing the numerical results with the experimental data at a high level of efficiency in the entire operating range. The decision to produce a full-scale fan was made based on the results of testing the bypass fan stage model.
