We study the effects of Brownian motion, thermophoresis, and nanoparticle volume fraction on convective heat transfer on a nonlinearly stretching sheet placed in a porous medium. The governing partial differential equations are converted into ordinary differential equations by a similarity transformation and are solved numerically using a linearization method. Comparisons with previously published works are performed to test the validity of the obtained results. The effects of selected fluid and material parameters on the velocity as well as the temperature and nanoparticle volume fraction profiles are determined and discussed. The skin friction, heat, and mass transfer coefficients have been obtained and analyzed for various physical parametric values. %8 2014-05-12
