Developed is the algorithm of a new polynomial multigrid method of solution process acceleration, which is a generalization of the conventional multigrid algorithm. Examples of a numerical solution of three-dimensional problems concerning inviscid flow over a sphere and turbulent subsonic gas flow over a wing are given. The results are compared with the results obtained by the finite volume method. Based on the data obtained, one can draw a conclusion regarding the efficiency of the polynomial multigrid method.
