AB The modem state of macrozoobenthos of Lake Yalpug was studied. Saprobiological characteristics of water quality were investigated by different methods. The obtained results were compared. New Saprobiological indices for <i>Dreissena</i> occurring in water bodies of the southern part of Ukraine have been proposed.
