T1 THE STATIONARY MODES OF THE REACTION FRONT AND THEIR STABILITY FOR SOLID MEDIA WITH REGARD TO CHEMICALLY INDUCED INTERNAL STRESSES AND STRAINS JF International Journal of Energetic Materials and Chemical Propulsion JO IJEMCP YR 2002 FD 2002-01-01 VO 5 IS 1-6 SP 867 OP 878 K1 solid phase combustion K1 coupling effects K1 conversion regimes K1 stresses K1 strains K1 fracture K1 analytical and numerical methods AB In this paper, the short survey of some results of the author devoted to theoretical investigation of the solid phase combustion is presented. All particular models are based on the conservation laws of the continuum mechanics. Unlike the models of the classical combustion theory, where the interrelation between reaction and heat transfer is taken into consideration, here the interrelation between them and mechanical processes is discussed. The changes of the media structure during the chemical reaction are taken into account with using of the additional parameter. The inhomogeneous structure of the reactants and of the products requires to evaluate specially the thermal physical and mechanical properties and leads in some cases to the appearance of a finite heat flux's time relaxation.
