T1 METHODICAL ERRORS IN METEOROLOGICAL MEASUREMENTS DURING CORRELATION PROCESSING OF SIGNALS FROM RADIO ACOUSTIC SOUNDING SYSTEMS JF Telecommunications and Radio Engineering JO TRE YR 2017 FD 2018-03-22 VO 76 IS 20 SP 1861 OP 1867 K1 RAS K1 systematic error K1 correlation processing K1 atmospheric air humidity K1 temperature K1 sounding AB Methodological errors estimation of the air humidity measurement, arising from a priori uncertainty of other meteorological parameters altitude distribution, is made. Their influence on recording vertical profiles of the measured meteorological quantities is estimated using correlative processing of the received signals of radio acoustic sounding systems. It is shown that for an arbitrary choice of a pair of sounding audio frequencies, the methodical error of measuring relative humidity can reach 100% even with thermal turbulence. The influence of a wind and sounding wave refractive effects on formation of methodical measurement errors can be reduced by rational selecting technical parameters of the sounding system antenna arrangement.
