Краткое описание

  • Introduction—General Arrangement
    • The fluidised bed is simply a volume of inert particles (coal, ash, sand, limestone) which are supported by a grate-like air distributor. When air is blown through the bed mass, the solid particles are lifted and suspended by the air. Expansion of the bed occurs permitting an increase in the flow rate of the air. At this point the particles can move freely, the bed behaves like a fluid. The total drag force equals the total particulate weight. Further increasing the fluid velocity is compensated by the formation of bubbles of air moving upwards in the relatively dense phase of the fluidised bed. These bubbles account for rapidly and evenly mixing of materials added to the bed, heat is transferred rapidly from one part of the bed to another and to cooler surfaces within it.
