Properties of Oil-Refrigerant Liquid Mixtures with Applications to Oil Concentration Measurement
Краткое описание
An investigation of thermophysical, transport, electrical, and optical propertl of oil-refrigerant liquid mixtures as possible bases for a real-time measuremen of oil concentration in a refrigeration system is presented. This paper contai brief results of a literature survey encompassing several properties of oil-refrigerant mixtures. The results of our laboratory measurements of liquid density, acoustic velocity, viscosity, dielectric constant, light absorption characteristics, and refractive index in mixtures of refrigeration oils and R-1 are presented, along with descriptions of the experimental procedures. Also included is a discussion of instrumentation that could be adapted to oil concentration measurement. Potentially successful oil concentration sensors, based on measurement of density, acoustic velocity, dielectric constant, and refractive index, are being considered for continued development.
