A first numerical exploration is proposed of the effect a given heat flux distribution can have on the axisymmetrical liquid bridge flows in zero gravity. Constant, polynomial and different Gaussian profiles are chosen, and the resulting velocity and temperature fields are compared. The imposed heat flux stiffness is seen to affect significantly the liquid bridge hydrodynamics.
