Краткое описание

Among the methods for predicting radiative properties, EWBM is an attractive one. Small database and low computational efforts especially with the modified type in this study (which utilizes polynomial fits) are outstanding specifications of this method. However, for making it more applicable and efficient, the capability to predict the absorption coefficient with relatively good accuracy is necessary. There are some approaches that use EWBM to predict the absorption coefficient. This study focuses on three of them. By using Beer-Lambert's law, total absorption coefficient, band absorption coefficient and spectral absorption coefficient have been calculated. Then for assessment, five test cases at atmospheric pressure and different temperature distributions and CO2 and H2O concentrations have been introduced. The comparison of the results with Cumulative-K (CK) method has certified that spectral absorption coefficient is a relatively convenient tool for prediction of the radiative heat flux and heat source.
