Аннотация

The aim of the present study is to investigate the effect of oil on flow boiling of HC-R600 inside a horizontal smooth tube, experimentally. In order to study the effect of oil on the flow boiling of HC-R600-a, an experimental apparatus is designed and fabricated. The main parts of the experimental apparatus are pump, flow meter, pre-heater, test evaporator, by-pass line and condenser. The experimental conditions of this study include mass velocities in range of 50 to 400 kg/m2s, inlet vapor qualities from 0 to 0.9 and heat fluxes from 3 to 8 kW/m2. The comparison between the flow boiling heat transfer coefficient for pure refrigerant and the refrigerant oil mixture at different vapor qualities and mass velocities will be done. The results of this study can be used for designing of the evaporators which work with the mixture of R600-a/oil as the working fluid.
