In this paper, efficiency and temperature distributions of rectangular convectiveradiative-generating fin are evaluated when thermal conductivity and internal heat generation are temperature dependent. The least square method is used in the only one-parameter form to treat sequentially high nonlinear terms arising in many non classical situations. It demonstrates that the proposed method is useful and the highly nonlinear fin problem can be treated without difficulties and with three nonlinearities. Predicted results are found accurate within 4% of the temperature and 5% for the efficiencies in the extreme condition, compared with the numerical results.
