Influence of external flow turbulence on heat transfer intensity on sphere surface

Results of experimental investigations of average and local heat transfer distributions on sphere at different external inflow turbulence have been presented. The average heat transfer coefficient on sphere surface is dependent on turbulence level of inflow. The influence of sphere diameter on heat transfer process is also observed. This is the results of influence external turbulence on flow structure around sphere surface. The distributions of local heat transfer and its fluctuations for different turbulence level of inflow for spheres of different diameters will be analyzed. Increasing of turbulence level of external flow intensify heat transfer process on sphere surface.
