Краткое описание

The aim of the paper is to present the more commonly used methods of treating the pressure-velocity coupling in order to predict incompressible flows of practical interest. The "segregated" approach is followed and the equations of motion are considered sequentially. The solution strategies are described with reference to the original differential equations rather than to their discretized counterparts. The main features of the various procedures are outlined with emphasis on the accuracy and stability of the numerical implementations.
