New Technological Cavitation-Induced Effects of Heat and Mass Transfer
摘要
A principle of discrete-pulse energy input in dispersed media as a cavitation flow of liquid process liquids is considered. The results of theoretical and experimental study into asymmetric collapse of cavitation bubbles with the formation of ultraspeed cumulative microjets are given. The destruction effect of the cumulative microjets during their penetration in solid materials is estimated. A number of new effects in liquid process media are obtained owing to mechanical breaking of weak intermolecular bonds, mechanical breaking of rather strong molecular bonds in the media, and fine and superfine dispersion of solid particles (or impurities) in suspensions and emulsions with a significant increase in their surface energy. To realize these effects, supercavitation apparatuses are designed for intensification of many production processes that occur in liquid media, namely, mixing, emulsification, dissolution, extraction, absorption, dispersion of suspensions, spraying of liquids, acceleration of many chemical reactions, sterilization, etc.
