ABSTRAKT
Results of experimental investigations on the influence of ultraviolet radiation on the peculiarities of lipid peroxidation in algae of various taxonomic groups, including Chlorophyta (Scenedesmus obtusus Meyen and Desmodesmus brasiliensis Bohl.), Cyanophyta (Anabaena cylindrica Lemm. and Phormidium autumnale f. uncinata (Ag.) Kondrat.), Euglenophyta (Euglena gracilis Klebs), and Bacillariophyta (Navicula atomus (Näg.) Grun.), are given in the paper. It has been found that the studied species differed in the peculiarities of free radical oxidation of polyunsaturated carbonic acids involved in the composition of lipid structures of algae cells.
