STEADY VISCOUS FLOWPAST AN ELLIPTIC CYLINDER UP TO REYNOLDS NUMBER 900

ABSTRAKT
The numerical solution of the symmetric steady flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an elliptic cylinder up to Reynolds number Re = 900 is obtained. The dependencies of the separation zone sizes and the drag coefficient on the Reynolds number and a relative body thickness are studied.
