Mathematic Model of Motion for Gaseous-and-Metal Jet in Steel Bath during Bottom Blowing

ABSTRAKT
It is considered the influence of heat flows from the lining and friction on parameters of oxygen and gaseous fuel along passages of lance used for BOF bottom blowing. The equation system determined numerically permits to define time pressure loss, temperature fields and gas-dynamic parameters. One of the methods for calculating oxygen jet spreading in iron-and-carbon melt with application of laws for energy conservation and impulse and also basic regularities of burning kinetics and balance relationship is presented.
