SYNTHESIS OF RLC-BASED MATCHING AND FILTERING DEVICES FOR SIGNAL AMPLITUDE-AND-PHASE MODULATORS
ABSTRACT
Optimal relations between complex elements of a resistance matrix of matching and filtering devices (MFDs), built on resistive and reactive elements, to ensure modulation of high-frequency signal amplitude and phase in two states of the controlled element, determined by two levels of a low-frequency control signal, are obtained. These relations are used to find mathematical expressions, determining optimal values of complex resistances of RLC-based two-pole networks, which form typical MFDs.
