ABSTRACT
The influence of multiplicative atmospheric distortion and additive noise on earth surface space images generation is investigated. The procedure of distorted images atmospheric correction is considered. The inefficiency of inverse filtration application to restoring distorted images with additive noise has been proved and confirmed experimentally. Wiener filtration method was proposed for multiplicative distorted and additive noised images restoration. The proposed method was experimentally verified for images with different types of additive distortions.
