ABSTRACT
It has been shown in aquarium experiments that catamine, a cationic surfactant, strengthens the toxic action of chromium (VI) on the chlorophyll a accumulation (which served as an indicator of algal biomass) and inhibits substantially the photosynthesis intensity in Chlorella vulgaris Beijer.
