ABSTRACT

The paper describes the main stages of formation and development of biotechnology research in the department of environmental physiology of aquatic animals and biotechnological complex. The long-term fundamental and applied researches that promote development of biotechnology in the Institute of hydrobiology of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine were analyzed.
