ABSTRACT

Dynamics of the density, chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b content, the total content of carotenoids and protein were investigated in the batch culture of Dunaliella salina. The kinetic characteristics of Dunaliella were calculated in terms of its biomass, and also in terms of the content of chlorophyll, carotenoids, and protein. It has been shown that the maximum biomass of D. salina, as well as the maximum content of protein and photosynthetic pigments, is observed at the density of the culture of 1.5-3.0 g OM·L−1.
