EVALUATION OF DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CHANNELS OF A DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEM CAUSED BY CHANGES OF ITS VARIABLES
ABSTRACT
Stochastic processes in a digital redundant control system caused by abrupt changes of variables are analyzed and evaluated. The mathematical model of abrupt changes of variables uses the Poisson time distribution and a uniform level distribution. Output signals of gain and an aperiodic filter are considered as well as an interchannel comparison monitor with confirmation time. It is shown that they can be described by the discrete Markov chains, and their stationary distributions are calculated. The rate of monitored signal validity loss as a function of intensity of changes of variables, monitor threshold, confirmation time, and time constant of an aperiodic filter is analyzed and evaluated.
