ABSTRACT
The article examines the system of passive decay heat removal for the emergency repair cooldown of water-moderated water-cooled power reactor (WWRE−1000) in the case of beyond design basis accident with the long-term plant blackout. The description of circuit solutions with the use of heat power equipment on the basis of two-phase thermosiphon is made. The results of calculated stimulation which is done with the help of the thermal hydraulic code MELCOR are also presented.
