ABSTRACT

Observation data on polarization of solar "drift pair" bursts (DP) are shown. All bursts were recorded during Type III storm on 12-18 July, 2002 with the URAN-2 radio telescope. Over 300 DPs are analyzed. The DP polarization is found to depend on the position of a DP-related active region on the solar disk. The average polarization degree of both "forward" and "reverse" DPs makes about 30 %. The investigated time profile of polarization degree shows substantial difference for those "forward" and "reverse" DPs.
