SINOPSIS
Within the frame of the optimal minimax statement the combined (two-stage) method for estimating object location is developed. This method is based on goniometrical system, which consists of several meters. On the first stage in the nonlinear version we solved the problem of finding initial (crude) estimate as well as its correlation matrix. The obtained data is used for the second stage in a linear filter for construction of the desired (improved) estimate.
