SINOPSIS
The fatty acid composition of lipids in the liver and heart of sterlet under hypoxia and hypercapnia (artificial hypobiosis) and exit from this state has been investigated. The decrease of the saturated and increase of the unsaturated fatty acids content was noted. The features of these changes in sterlet liver and heart were revealed. The redistribution of the polyunsaturated fatty acid composition in the sterlet tissues results in changes of ω3/ω6 ratio. This mechanism may be involved into the process of cellular adaptation to artificial hibernation in fishes.
