SINOPSIS
The pattern of higher aquatic vegetation in the Ivan'kovskoye* reservoir, built in the upper quarter of the Volga almost seventy years ago, is considered in detail. The species composition and distribution of the hydrophytes are analyzed while taking into account the features of weather conditions and hydraulic events peculiar to this reservoir.
