SINOPSIS

Algological study of dry limestones of Nahal Keziv, the Upper Galilee, Israel, was carried out for the first time. Thirty five species (36 forms) belonging to 4 orders of Cyanoprocaryota were revealed by cultural method. Fifteen taxa are new or rare for Israel. A taxonomic list of species with synonyms, distribution in Israel, and general distribution is given, as well as detailed descriptions and drawings of rare and new taxa for Israel.
