SINOPSIS
Chemical methods for the determination of local mass transfer are described . The physical-chemical concept of these techniques is based on absorption, chemical reaction and coupled color reaction. The transferred mass of reacting phases like ammonia or methylamine is visible as color intensity, which directly corresponds to the locally transferred mass. The mass (color) density on the surface is evaluated by photometric measurements of light reflectance or tv-image processing. The measuring techniques are applicable to all objects without any limitation of filigran or large surfaces.
