RÉSUMÉ
Peristaltic flow of a Reiner−Rivlin fluid in an endoscope has been discussed under the no-slip condition. The governing equations for the Reiner−Rivlin fluid in cylindrical coordinates have been modeled. Analytical solutions have been obtained by the perturbation method. The expressions for pressure rise and friction forces have been calculated using numerical integration. The grapical results are presented to interpret various physical quantities of the Reiner−Rivlin fluid: the parameter λ1 amplitude ratio φ radius ratio ε, and the wavelength δ.
