RÉSUMÉ

The paper deals with retrospective analysis of the transformation of the shallow water habitats of the cooling pond of the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant formed as a result of its descent in 2014-2020. The main attention was paid to changes in the floristic and cenotic structure of the phytal using widely accepted hydrobotanical approaches and methods of earth remote sensing. The pioneer stages of the overgrowing of the newly formed habitats were characterized. The transformation of the structure of macrophyte thickets over six years was analyzed.
