RÉSUMÉ

Concentration of dissolved methane in water of some tributaries of the Rybinsk reservoir was determined. Peculiarities of its distribution and rate of transformation over summer period were shown. Relation between quantitative characteristics of the methane cycle and ecological state of the water bodies was revealed.
